Faye is an enthusiastic, professional, honest and hardworking individual. She developed a marketing plan for an organisation my company was working with, an organisation with a low budget for developing marketing activity; and she thoroughly proved that marketing ‘can be done on a shoestring!’

How to build a positive self image

  • Dress up
  • Identify your special strengths, talents and skills- make a ‘victory’ list 
  • Read success stories (role models) 
  • Listen to and watch motivational things 
  • Talk like a winner- use positive affirmations 
  • Act like you’re confident- smile, walk tall… develop confident body language 
  • Give & receive compliments 
  • Praise & speak well of yourself 
  • Do something for someone who can’t do anything for you in return (volunteer) 
  • Treat your body well 
  • Be around enthusiastic people 
  • Remember the failures 
  • Get some perspective
  • Take a public speaking course & practise your presentation skills 
  • Expand your comfort zone, building on areas where you have confidence
  • Let people know how you expect to be treated 
  • Be grateful 
  • Picture how you want to be and visualise success  
  • Look out for knowledge expansion opportunities!
