PERSONALITY DIVERSITY
We have a proven ‘new to the UK’ communication tool which has massive potential to transform relationships throughout your school. Click here for more details.li
Diversity is one of our society’s current emphases and we’re all aware of the importance of understanding it in terms of race, religion, gender, age and so on. Yet another vital area of diversity is often overlooked - differences in personality. We know we're all different, but tend to spend little time in working out how we can all relate better together at work and socially.
In this session, we'll take a relaxed and informative look at what makes us all so different and go away with practical skills to relate better with other staff, work colleagues, friends and families.
This is your opportunity to create improved working relationships and foster deeper understanding in your staff room.
‘Our team has been transformed since the PEP training day you led for us last month. It was fun, relaxed, informal and informative – we have a new language with which to communicate with each other and the atmosphere in the office is totally different now. Thank you so much for giving us an understanding which we have all been able to take into every area of our lives. Every team should do this’. Hazel, Community Team Leader, Lewes, East Sussex
WHY DO THEY DO THAT ?
Understanding Challenging Behaviour
Teachers and parents frequently find themselves asking, ’Why do they do that?’, but there are some children whose behaviour is so challenging that staff continually find themselves at a loss at how to deal effectively with these pupils and to get them to engage in school life. Click here for more details.
Our presentation, ideal for Inset days, sheds light on the reasons for challenging behaviour and provides effective strategies for dealing with the most difficult students.
Designated teachers for LAC are expected to keep up to date with the skills, knowledge and training to respond to the specific needs of LAC and to develop other staff’s understanding in areas such as:
- The emotional, psychological and social implications of separation from birth families and the reason for this
- The reasons why many LAC under-achieve, including the impact of loss and attachment
Our specialist Inset days will ensure that all staff are aware of and trained in these important areas.
“A baby born with a potential for greatness encoded in his genes may turn out to have a gift for logic or a brilliant criminal mind, the direction defined by his early experiences.” JM Nash (1997)
UNDERSTANDING BRAIN DEVELOPMENT – Executive Functioning Skills
Executive Functioning is the brain’s ability to absorb and interpret information and then to make decisions based on this information. This presentation, using the latest research into brain development gives teachers helpful insights into why some pupils seem unable to settle into school life and gives practical pointers to making the school day easier for both staff and students.

What have teachers said about Path?
“We were intrigued by Path4Life and invited Ruth to present her programme to our business studies group. (click here for the whole story)
After going through the material, our students, who are not easily impressed it has to be said, suggested that the whole of the sixth form, and indeed the whole school, would benefit. As a result, we have already extended the programme to the sixth form over the next few months. The benefits I saw, were that by the end of the session, each student had a new clarity on their own personality and style, a clear understanding of the importance of teams as well as a personal mission statement- all vital in business, especially for those who plan to become entrepreneurs.” Kathy McKay, Head of Business and Enterprise

The session was a lesson in self worth- excellent. Click here for more
I found the session helpful; it helped me realise that I am not driven by success but rather by being happy and content with my life.
Good session, really enjoyable. The speaker was clear and well spoken. The elements used to describe ourselves were useful.
An insightful, helpful and eye opening session that adds to your self affirmation for university and beyond.
I have learnt I am a wind-fire type of person, meaning I am bold, assertive, talkative and enthusiastic, and work best in a team. I also learnt where I am going and how I am going to get there. My mission is to embrace life, inspire others and sacrifice my time for a better future with honour.
I have learnt what type of person I am, what qualities I have and what are needed in certain situations. My mission is to dream, achieve and inspire potential and commitment in myself and others
I thought that you are a good teacher and I have learnt about business and what personality I am. I hope we carry this on.
My mission is to communicate, appreciate and live life to the full for myself and others.
I discovered my personality type and my mission fit perfectly together - 'my mission is to inspire and encourage healing and respect in myself and others'. I want to be a sports physiotherapist and now I've got a vision plan to make it happen. Adam, NEET student
