Michelle Rawlins, National Journalist
Michelle is a highly successful, award winning freelance journalist who has built a long and consistent career from interviewing people in all walks of life and turning their words into print.
She has worked as a local and national newspaper and magazine writer, suppling copy and content to a huge variety of media platforms, including digital content for publications such as Mail Online, Mirror Online & the Sun Online.
For the last 20 years though, Michelle has been an independent journalist, providing and writing real-life features for national newspapers and best-selling weekly magazines such as Take a Break, That’s Life, Bella and Closer magazine, as well as being regularly commissioned by Slimming Work to write for their UK magazine and American website. Michelle also places interviewees on local and national daytime and news programmes including This Morning, Good Morning Britain and The Victoria Derbyshire Show, a huge asset to Keep Your Fork clients.
We have chosen to work with Michelle because she shares our Fork ethical values of carefully nurturing long-lasting relationships, a reputation for quality and reliability with social purpose, as she works alongside charities and their PR companies to create national media awareness for their clients and causes.
This was recognised when Michelle won an International Media Award from Variety, The Children’s Charity this year, following a year-long campaign creating a huge amount of national media attention for their service, as well as providing content for their social media channels.
