30th November 1999: Rap artists film great rap version of 'This Little Light of Mine' in Manchester School
The Message Trust is an organisation working in just about every Manchester school. They are particularly keen to help the disadvantaged and marginalised in some of Europe’s most deprived estates. Message also have some brilliant live bands, including LZ7 and Blush UK.
A great rap version of “This Little Light” was filmed in a Manchester school, which closed for the day so the students could participate.
Energising and great to show in assemblies, band LZ7 are growing a worldwide fan base and this track has already had over 80,000 hits on You Tube. Too see the video, click here.
Blush UK are four passionate young urban pop performers with a heart for helping young women discover self-respect and inner beauty.
The band recently illustrated the principle by filming a photo shoot, showing the girls with and without makeup.
